James Etherington, Dragons Head Rock (February theme: Unusual angles)

I guess as us photographers know, light is everything when it comes to creating a beautiful landscape photo! Well, I have to say I was extremely lucky on this day! I had done my research on the tides, cloud coverage ECT and realised that the maybe today was the day for getting that shot of Dragons Head Rock! So I made the 45 minutes drive down the Peninsula to my destination. Upon arriving I realised sometimes it doesn’t matter how much research you do as the light was terrible! But thought to myself “hey I’m here now so let’smissed something when doing my res give this a go” So I set my composition up and waited for a glimpse of beautiful light. I waited and waited and then it came! All 2 minutes of it! But that’s all it takes to get that shit. So I snapped away and managed to get this! I am very pleased with how it turned out considering I only had one chance to get it Rite!
