Annette Scholtz, Dragon Birth (Wildlife and Animal 2019)
We are lucky enough to have Eastern Water Dragons in our garden (and pool). The female laid eggs in a flower pot next to our pool and we kept track of the dates. When it was time for them to hatch I decided to capture this once in a lifetime moment of them hatching. They hatched in four consecutive days. It was a slow process with the slice in the egg till it was out lasting hours. We hope to see them again in summer.
