Donna Glass, Do They Just Drift Away? (LANDSCAPE 2023)
Photography in the Bunya Mountains at night on Wakka Wakka land is a privilege. Climbing a rocky cliff and turning my camera basically upside down for some of these shots These Australian Grass Trees towering above me, growing just 4cm a year these grass trees can be up to 450 years old. Not a whiff of wind on a new moon to make these images possible I can feel the breeze pick up as the dingos pick up my scent up on the ridge and start howling. Surreal indeed.
