Captured as part of a sunrise series across Sydney's beaches. The composition , titled as “Departures at Dawn” pairs two posts—one topped with a bird, the other with shoes—against a passing jet. The plane stands in stark contrast to the scene, looking as though it just emerged from another world. A handheld shot taken during the early hours of the morning in Maroubra. Captured on a Nikon Z50 with a Sigma 16mm f/1.4 lens. Settings: f/2, 1/250s, ISO 100. Minor editing done using NX Studio to convert into JPEG and minimal touch up.
