Steven Manolakis, Delicate (May Theme: The Elegance of Nature)
Located in Australia's northwest region, the Kimberley is one of world's oldest and most expansive wilderness landscapes. Only 40,000 people inhabit the ancient region, leaving fewer people per square kilometre than nearly any other place on the planet. Its predominantly untouched coastline is classed by some of the world's best beaches. Red sandstone escarpments give contrast to white silica shores and azure seas. Delicate coastal sandbanks, isles, inlets and other natural phenomena are routinely unveiled by the retreat of large tidal currents which dictate when and what to explore.
