Nathan Shaw, Deep Blue (May Theme: The Elegance of Nature)

This photo was taken just before a major storm hit Port Kembla Beach in early May, 2020. At the time I had been going down to my local beach daily to escape my house and get away from the struggles that the COVID-19 isolation had been placing on me. Whenever I look back at this photo, I like to think that the surfers I captured are doing the same thing as I was, escaping their stuggles in the 'Deep Blue' ocean.
