Jane McMenamin, Dashing Duck (SINGLE SHOT 2022)

A Plumed Whistling Duck making a dash for it. After watching a few of them take off, I was able to adjust my settings to capture the movement, catching this one mid-stride. It was a greyish day and I was shooting into the light so I decided to use the high key technique to expose the bird correctly and let its surroundings overexpose. I was pleased with the result.
