Howard Moutrie, Curves (ENTRIES CLOSED - SOFT LIGHT)

The Alabama Hills provided some dramatic landscapes but the soft curves of the rocks and the soft diffused light provided a contrast with the overall landscape. Due to the failing light the camera was set on a high ISO to allow a fast shutter and the lens set more to the telephoto end to flatten the composition. I also included some plants which complemented the soft curves and colours of the rock. Adjustments in Lightroom to accentuate the warmth of the rocks and plants. Nikon D7200, Nikon 18-140mm lens @ 66mm f8, ISO 800, 160 sec.
