Linda Leman, Creamy Skies White feathers (SINGLE SHOT 2023)

If not for being caught in the act of stealing fruit, this Cockatoo would look like a picture of angelic innocence. Driving slowly around a country area I heard the raucous commotion of birds with their loot, jumped out of the car, and grabbed this shot as it flew by. I love the way it's holding the bounty so delicately! Not an easy shot - exposure-wise, or tracking a bird in flight at some speed - but I was pretty thrilled with the end result!
