Mark Kriedemann, Coastal Express Line (October theme: Lines)
Columbo's railway runs dead-straight along the coast, offering a vast vista on clear days and lowering skylines on the hazy ones. Using the Fujifilm x100vi I aimed straight down the tracks towards some heavy clouds which began to make their presence known as the morning went on. In order to get the shot, I also had to keep an ear out for the incoming trains, and much of their noise was drained out by the equally loud traffic which heaved along the coastline as the working day begun.
