Sue Hollis, Christmas Tree Worm (June: Nature's Perfect Geometry)

These magnificent cone-shaped worms have perfectly symmetrical twin spirals of feathery delicate plumes used for feeding. They are an underwater photographer's challenge as any sense of movement or current in the water they will quickly retract back into their tube home.
