Joshua Carr, Chasing Rainbows (June theme: Australian Landscape)
After knocking off work I had a gut instinct that an epic sunset was around the corner. My camera gear was strewn around the room from charging the night before so I hastily grabbed what I needed and began the mad scramble out to Sandford Rocks before sundown. As the rock drew closer I could see some heavy rains brewing in the distance and thought that my time had been wasted... but I persevered in hope. Fast forward a couple minutes and that sense of hope turned to awe as the most vibrant rainbow I'd ever witnessed formed before my eyes, and it somehow lined directly up with the dampened gravel road. Despite it beginning to drizzle, I knew the opportunity was too good to pass up so quickly pulled the car over, unzipped the camera bag and whipped the drone out to capture this moment.
