Tim Burgess, Cetecean (ANIMAL & NATURE 2022)

Growing up around the ocean, Whales have always been the pinnacles of the deep for me. As they graciously passed the coast during their northern migration to mate and give birth - I was fortunate enough to capture some rare moments from a unique perspective. I wanted to capture these animals in a way that showed their raw beauty but also help make them more known to protect them for future generations. One moment that stood out was a lone Humpback breaching just off shore after a passing storm came through - creating one of the most beautiful alignments of nature with a rainbow.
