Carole-Anne Fooks, Cape Peron headland at Rockingham, with its wildlife, Western Australia. (ANIMAL & NATURE 2022)
The red limestone cliffs and beaches of Cape Peron make a great location for its wildlife. Flocks of seabirds include Australian Pied Cormorants, Silver Gulls, occasional Terns (various species) and Pacific Gulls. There are also a tribe of feral goats in the area which stroll along the beaches and climb the rocky cliffs. They are led by a magnificent Billy Goat.
