Seth Lazar, Camel Rock and the Milky Way (June theme: Night light)

Camel Rock, north of Bermagui, looks like a camel from the south, but from right behind, it looks like a mother looking out to sea. That's how the Yuin people understood it for many years before it was known as Camel Rock. I got this shot of the Milky Way rising just before the moon came up, the position was perfect, but I was scrambling around to get my kit ready in time for the galactic centre to breach the horizon.
