Pat Martin, Brutalism (LIGHT/SHADOW - Entries close 30 September 2026)

I took this photo of the Brutalist designed East Perth Railway Station on a sunny day when shadows were at their most defined. I liked the extra shapes that the shadows provided. The photo was taken quickly to avoid traffic, hand held. I converted it to black and white to emphasize shapes and angles. Minimal editing included enhancing contrast and sharpening.
