David Ashley, Break of Day (January theme: First light)

Heading out at 4.30 am on the weekend might not appeal to most but if you want to witness first light then an early start is mandatory. I arrived at Salter Point, WA at 5 am and staked out a suitable composition. I then waited for Mother Nature to do her thing and within a short while the light show began and Perth was greeted with another awesome sky show!
