BOUND: Model shoot. I asked the model if he would allow me to bind his hands with rope which might suggest to the viewer a person of colour being held back or held against his will. Poor Fay: Elderly lady that I asked to hold a lit cigar and think of sad times. She said she thought about being poor. Picture Perfect: Taken at a model shoot. I asked the model to wear the fur hat and stole and to pretend she was out in the snow but to be glamorous. Karen: similar photo shoot. I asked Karen to pretend she is an old time movie star.
