Julia Howe, bones (June theme: Australian Landscape)

before studying for an exam one night I decided to calm myself down by going for a walk beneath the stars (with my camera and tripod on hand of course!) I came across this old tree in our front paddock and set up shop. this is the best photo I got that night. the wind was challenging and it was a new camera lens with which I was purely experimenting with. this image captures the bones of an old gumtree who has seen this land long before me.
