Matthew Coleman, Between Storm and Light (LIGHT/SHADOW - Entries close 30 September 2026)

A break in the weather allowed a brief shaft of light to move across the Tasmanian mountains, illuminating the ridges beneath a heavy storm-filled sky. Moments later the scene had changed again. I wanted to capture that fleeting contrast — the warmth of the light against the approaching darkness, and the immense sense of space and isolation in the landscape.
