Andrew Otterspoor, Bee-line (BIG AND SMALL - Entries close 31 March 2026)

Bee-line was made on a Canon 750D with a Tamron 18-400mm lens. Shat at 400mm, f/7.1, ISO 100 @ 1/400th second. The only editing was some shadow reduction. I was observing Bees feeding on the pollen in Lotus flowers in the Adelaide Botanic Gardens. While I was shooting this Bee headed directly to the flower I was concentrating on.
