Buddhika Tharanga Jayasekara, Bee Eaters in Action (Wildlife and Animal 2019)

Bee-eaters are symbols of dynamism. When you wander into the forest in a morning or an evening, you will see them hunt for little insects as groups or alone. Constantly flying and returning to the same branch throwing their catch in the air. Observe well, because, their vibrant colours and aerial acrobatics can really make your day. This trio of little green bee-eaters on the morning hunt were captured by me at the Wilpattu National Park during my annual holiday to Sri Lanka in January 2019. They remind me how beautiful and creative our mother nature is.
