Alison Langevad, Beauty and the Beast (SINGLE SHOT 2022)

Beauty is found at every turn in Kenya. The wildlife is nothing short of magnificent, with majestic species such as the African elephant freely roaming the lands. It is a photographers dream to spend time in Kenyan game parks and conservancies. But it is currently being challenged by the ‘beast’, a drought of overwhelming proportions. With three seasons of crippling drought and dire predictions ahead, the ‘beast’ is becoming all consuming. Failing rains allow dust devils to blanket the landscapes, putting both people and wildlife in peril.
