Tim Freer, Basalt Storm Surge (SINGLE SHOT 2023)

Bombo was under siege from the fury of the angry ocean. Momentary bursts of sunlight fought the way through the stormy dark sky throwing light over the wash and cascades. The sea spray and drizzling rain only added to this moody seascape. I stood in awe as large waves pounded the coastline of towering pillars of basalt.
