Louise Mannion, Awkward Avo (May theme: Texture)

Approx. 10 am on a cloudy day with natural lighting on my dark-walled balcony. The texture of an avocado is unique, and I wanted to try and capture that rough but silky feeling through the photo. I experimented with filling the frame before coming out and trialing other compositions. I decided I wanted to include a third of the floor to create a contrast of textures. To add more depth and dimension to the image I left the avocados in the green netting.
