A selection of photographs taken of the majestic Emperor Penguins that breed each year at Auster Rookery, East Antarctica, in the harshest conditions on the globe. They are resilient, comical, inquisitive and extremely picturesque creatures, but also unfortunately endangered. Perhaps if more people were aware of their plight we might see further impetus to take action on climate change.
