Michelle Westwood, At Day’s End (LIGHT/SHADOW - Entries close 30 September 2026)

As the sun dropped over Newcastle Harbour, the people along the foreshore became silhouettes against the warm evening light. I was drawn to the contrast between the dark figures and the golden reflection across the water, creating a quiet moment where light and shadow became the main subjects of the image.
