Vicki-Louise White, AstroDome (SINGLE SHOT 2022)

Growing up in Western Australia I’ve always wanted to visit the Bungle Bungle Range located in the East Kimberley. The beehive shaped domes are striped with cyanobacteria with the main structure composed of sandstone, deposited millions of years ago! The magical, World Heritage-listed Bungle Bungle Range covers over 400kms of land situated in the Purnululu National Park where the Gija and Jaru people are the Traditional Custodians. This was shot on a Dream Photography workshop during free photgraphing time. I actually buggered up the settings on this one as I have had pretty hardcore brain-fog lately! Nikon Z6 | Single image | 13sec | 2.5 | 20mm I have no words for the moment the Milky Way comes alive in-camera.
