A kind gentleman in Fremantle used to pick up flowers, sticks and leaves from the street to make pretty composition and gift strangers…It’s what my daughter is holding in her little hand… Plants and flowers have a very strong symbolic meaning; they are “reminders that even in the coldest depths of winter, life endures”. Flowers and plants are a symbol of life and, at the same time, a symbol of resilience, change and the inevitability of death. ISO 80, 200mm, f2.8, 1/320s
