The photograph, “Alcohol,” has great contrast on the bottle compared to the flowers, which epitomises how the two are not equal, as the brighter object- the flowers- evoke purer joy than the darker object- the bottle representing materialism. This urges the audience to reevaluate their priorities and whilst they admire materials. It didactically provoke them to shift their focus on nature.
