Katherine Boland, Across the Lake, 2050, #2 (CREATIVE 2022)

This photomontage was created with photographs of my burnt timber paintings and Merimbula Lake on the Far South Coast of New South Wales, a region devastated by the 2019/20 bushfires. A charred and blistered landscape depicts a dystopian future in which we -failed to take action on climate change.
