Grant Hunt, Above the Alaskan Frontier (Aerial 2018)

Flying north out of Anchorage, Alaska, towards the wilderness of Lake Clarke National Park, civilisation soon gives way to the beauty of nothingness. Wild coastal wetlands shaped by 24 foot tides and winter ice, appear as tapestries of green, blue, grey and charcoal. The shoot was made all the more challenging because I was ensconced in the tin fuselage of a 1942 Dehavilland Beaver shooting through the 75 year old glass windows. You just got to make the most of a view like this.
