Gerrie, a Dutch Christian who has a strong relationship with god. His world actually revolves around kindness to others. His eyes project warmth and compassion. Exactly what I experienced from him as I cried my first day solo along the Camino as he and his daughter welcomed me into their group although not speaking more than 10 words of English.
