Keith Horton, A variety of bird action at Coomaditchy Lagoon (September Theme: Birds)
I was drawn to this scene for two main reasons. First, the striking comparisons and contrasts between the birds, the shrub on which they are perching, and the trees in the background. Second, the interactions and contrasts between the birds themselves. Two Little Pied Cormorants, two Australian White Ibises, and one Little Black Cormorant. I believe the shrub on which they are perching is a paperbark (Melaleuca) of some sort.
