Deni Cupit, A Particularly Sticky Sunset (February theme: Colour)

Sticky, for the obvious foreground composition. And sticky, for the length that this sunset hung around for. The fiery sky stuck around for a long time, allowing me to take numerous long exposures - this one is three minutes. The sticks and symmetry provide a minimalist composition which allows the vibrant colours of the evening to shine through. Image taken close to home in Tasmania.
