Daniel McCooke, A Bird, Shoes and the Moon (MINIMALISM - Entries close 31 July 2026)

I first noticed the shoes hanging over the power line with the Moon brightly lit in the background. As I framed the shot, the bird flew above, completing the frame. I shot this with a Nikon Z6iii and a 28-75mm f/2.8 lens. The focal length was 70mm, my shutter speed was 1/400, aperture was f/6.3 and ISO 800.
