Doug Hewitt, 24 hours at Fingal Bay (LANDSCAPE 2023)

These four images represent 24 hours of holiday time spent well at Fingal Bay in Port Stephens NSW, with all images featuring local landmark, Fingal Island. It started with a star trail on Saturday night with the bright light of Jupiter rising to the north of the Island. Sunrise on the beach was incredible with the water flowing from the local creek and meeting the ocean with a gorgeous ripple. In the evening, the golden light of sunset lit up the sky over the beach and the series was completed with a 2 minute long exposure over the calm waters of the bay.
