While aerial landscapes have become more popular in recent years, Diana Yong’s portfolio adds a fresh perspective. While the images are honest and unfiltered renderings of the landscape, the limited colour palette and abstract nature of the designs create a painterly effect, almost like a contemporary indigenous ‘dot’ painting. The images were taken over The Western District Lakes, Victoria.
