Winner, 2015 Junior Portrait Photographer of the Year

Ana Burenkova

Ana Burenkova was just sixteen when she entered her portfolio "Jeunesse" in the Junior Portrait category. It was an overwhelmingly popular choice for first place with five of the six judges awarding Burenkova their best mark in this category. Tobias Titz said she was a "great observer", Mandarine Montgomery thought she displayed a "maturity beyond her years" while Tamara Dean commented that her portraits are "honest and uncontrived". High praise from some of Australia's best portrait photographers. Well done Ana!
