This three minute timelapse trailer uses incredible camera techniques

Renowned timelapse photographer Tom Lowe has released a stunning new 3-minute trailer for the upcoming feature film Awaken.

The documentary promises to explore humanities relationship with both nature and technology. Lowe says the project has so far taken him more than 5 years of shooting across 30 different countries.

As he says of the project, he had to pioneer “new time-lapse, time-dilation, underwater, and aerial cinematography techniques to give audiences new eyes with which to see our world.” The result is not only remarkable, but shows techniques we've never seen anything like before.

Awaken is “a celebration of the spirit of life, an exploration of the Earth, and an ode to the Cosmos,” and is set to be released in 2018.
