A waving damselfly, a rockin’ marmot and a farting penguin are just some of the forty finalists in the 2019 Comedy Wildlife Photography Awards (CWPA).
A global, online and free to enter photography competition, CWPA aims to highlight the important message of wildlife conservation in an engaging and positive way, working with charity The Born Free Foundation.
As part of this, for 2019 CWPA have a message they are promoting on how be a ‘conservationist at home', which includes asking people to shop responsibly, restrict water use at home and become a wild influencer.
The winners will be announced on 13th November, with the overall winner winning a one-week safari in the Masai Mara, Kenya, as well as a unique handmade trophy from Tanzania. Members of the public will also get the chance to choose a winner through a People’s Choice vote to be conducted at comedywildlifephoto.com.
