Tamron has announced plans to develop a 14-150mm lens for Micro Four Thirds system cameras.
Equivalent to 28-300mm in the 35mm format, the new lens includes vibration correction and a special stepping motor which is designed to provide smoother and quieter autofocus.
The metal-barrel lens has a maximum aperture range of f3.5 (wide angle) to f5.8 (telephoto) and is available in two colours, black and silver. Pricing and availability have not been released.
