The Sydney International Boat Show Photo Competition is on again this year, with entrants asked to submit their best “recreational boating” images by July 8, 2011. A selection of the best images will be exhibited at the Sydney International Boat Show, Darling Harbour, from 28 July to 1 August.

The competition theme is “My favourite recreational boating moment or scene”. The rules are simple – a maximum of eight images submitted per person; finished photo size to be 10 x 15 inches (254 x 381mm) @ 300ppi; images to be high resolution JPEG, sRGB colour space, and the image file size to be a minimum of 1MB and a maximum of 5MB.

Two prizes will be awarded. The Judge’s Award will be judged by Digital Photography + Design editor, James Ostinga, and well-known pro photographer, Andrea Francolini. The People’s Choice Award will be decided by visitors to the show. Each winner will receive a $500 voucher from competition sponsor, Digital Camera Warehouse.
