A year in the making, the Swanky Paws photobook is finally available for purchase.

Created to raise much-needed funds for RSPCA NSW, the limited edition photo book features over 100 photographs of dogs dressed up in Swanky Paws attire, with each model dog captured by Penrith business Studio1000 Photography Australia.

The idea for the initiative came about during a phone call between Studio1000’s owner Mark Flew and Chantelle Perry from ‘dog fashion’ business Swanky Paws, which is located on the Central Coast.

Not only was all the clothing handmade by Swanky Paws, but many of the pieces used in the shoots were created as one-off pieces, many were specially designed in collaboration with the specific owners of the featured dogs to help capture the personality of their pet.

The book has already raised $7,500 for RSPCA NSW via donations made by owners to have their dogs feature in the book. Each owner paid $75 to have their pet featured in the book, 100% of which was donated to RSPCA NSW.

An additional donation was placed by Christa Billich, which paid for an additional 10 pages in the photo book that were dedicated to celebrating RSPCA dogs and RSPCA volunteers.

The team behind the book’s creation are hoping to double the funds raised already in the coming weeks via the sale of the book, the sale of raffle tickets, and the sale of tickets to the book’s launch party, which has been rescheduled to November 7, 2021.

The launch party is set to be held at Pier One on Sydney Harbour and will feature a Doggy Fashion Runway.
