Sony announces finalists of inaugural Film Festival

Sony has announced the finalists of the inaugural Sony Film Festival.

Commencing this year, the Festival celebrates the best short-form filmmaking shot on Sony cameras across Australia and New Zealand.

More than 130 entries were received in the competition, with judges, Peter James, ACS, ASC (Non-fiction category), Wayne Ringrow, Vice President – Australian Artists (Music category) and director Will Gluck (Fiction category) narrowing it down to 15 finalists.

The films and a number of Sony selected honorable mentions are now available for viewing HERE. 

Winners of the 2021 Sony Film Festival will be announced during the Awards Night, which will take place on Sony’s YouTube channel via live-stream on Wednesday September 29th at 7:00PM AEDT.
