Two new compact action cameras have been released by ShotBox offering automatic video recording and waterproofing to 100 metres.

ShotBox has launched the S71 and S60, two new compact action cameras with features which include automatic video recording via a G-Sensor trigger when in motion, and a waterproof casing which protects them down to 100 metres. Both models come with a removable touchscreen and the ability to mount it in any location.

ShotBox says its S71 offers recording features of 4K resolution, rates of up to 120 frames per second, a 16 megapixel stills camera, 10x digital zoom, a 147 degrees ultra-wide angle lens, and an f/2.8 aperture for extreme low-light sensitivity. The S71 can record for up to two and half hours, while the S60 can record for up to three hours. ShotBox has teamed up with AEE, a leading manufacturer of quality recording equipment and the camera range is built at AEE’s international standards approved factory.

The built-in Wi-Fi enables the ShotBox to be connected to the AEE App, available on both iOS and Android, to control, record, review and edit recorded footage using a smart device. The ShotBox S71 and S60 are available online and in retailers for $439 (RRP) and $299 (RRP). The ShotBox also comes with $200 worth of accessories, including a waterproof case, a 2in (50mm) removable touchscreen, a lithium battery, various mounts, USB cable, an humonitor anti-fog kit and a storage pouch and hand strap.
