Adobe is set to release an Android tablet version of Photoshop this year, with an iPad version expected to follow early in 2012. Adobe Photoshop Touch is a pared-down version of Photoshop CS5, though still offers a relatively advanced feature set including layers, selections, filters and colour and tone adjustments.
While some features are the same as those found in CS5, the user interface has been completely redesigned to suit touch commands.
Photoshop Touch is expected to be available on the Android Market in November for US$9.99. Release dates and pricing for the iPad version have not been announced.
