The Photographic Society of Queensland will hold its annual Convention on the Queen’s Birthday weekend from June 11 to 13.
This year photographers are venturing to Goondiwindi, a small country town four hours west of Brisbane. The Goondiwindi Photography Club, which has between 30 and 40 members, is hosting the event and it is said they intend to make this country experience unique and enriching.
Speakers will include Darren Leal, Nigel Brennan, Richard White, Danielle Lancaster, and John Elliott. Over the course of the weekend, there will be a number of educational sessions, hands-on workshops, exhibitors and a photography exhibition.
