Olympus Imaging Australia has announced the release of the new Stylus TG-Tracker data-logging 4K action camera.

According to its maker the TG-Tracker has been designed for adventurers and sport enthusiasts and is the latest member of the Olympus Tough family.

The TG-Tracker has a Field Sensor System which captures data from five sensors to connect video recordings with maps or altitude/depth position graphs during playback in the Olympus OI.Track app.

The camera features an extreme wide-angle lens that captures a 204-degree view and has a claimed 90-minute battery life when recording at 4K resolution.

Highlighting the Olympus’ Tough capabilities, the TG-Tracker is also waterproof, crushproof, freezeproof and shockproof.

The TG-Tracker's Field Sensor System simultaneously records GPS, compass, barometer (altitude/depth), accelerometer and thermometer data to provide enhanced movie-plus-data playback in Full HD resolution on smartphones or tablet devices. The TG-Tracker can also be used as a pure data recorder in its log-only mode.
