Congratulations to Robin Moon who has won our October ‘Connections’ photo competition with her image J'adore, as judged by our guest judge, Creative Director and Photographer Christopher Quyen

Speaking about the shot, Chris said:

I've picked J'adore by Robin Moon for capturing and evoking this sense of wonder about the innocence of connection. "What makes us, from a young age, desire to connect to the world around us from people to animals to nature?" This was the question resting on my mind after I saw this image.

Aesthetically, the warm tones evoke a dreamy, childlike feeling to the image and the photo's composition brought me into the child's world with the mountain and the sun flare acting as vectors that bring our eye to this beautiful moment of connection between the child and her horse.

Congratulations to Robin for this stunning image of connection.

Thanks to the amazing team at BenQ, Robin has won an amazing BenQ SW240 image-editing monitor: the monitor for a colour-critical workflow, featuring 99% adobe RGB, 14-bit 3D LUT and hardware calibration, with an RRP of $699.
